About Me and My Practice:

I believe that our close collaboration is the key to helping you adjust to difficult experiences and achieve a greater sense of balance and happiness in your life. With a strong emphasis on what is most important to you, I will work with you to help you live a life more focused on your values. I am a licensed psychologist specializing in cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and existential approaches to treat patients with a range of health challenges that are both mental and physical. I have a strong interest in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness-based interventions focused on healing the body and mind.

I am committed to a holistic approach that considers the impact of the mind and body on well-being. I regularly treat insomnia, grief, anxiety and depression. I have also worked extensively with cancer patients to assist with adjustment to diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. My experience also includes assisting those with a range of medical illness.

At the heart of my therapeutic approach lies the belief that a strong therapeutic alliance truly is the basis for positive growth. Our relationship can be a powerful vehicle for change as we explore your values and work to help you achieve your best life. I sincerely hope you will reach out to begin a conversation about how I can assist you.
