You’re in the right place. We’ve been helping couples, individuals and families just like you in metropolitan Washington DC since 2002. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact us today! We can be reached by phone, email, or text. With offices in downtown Silver Spring and Bowie, Maryland, we have availability to fit your schedule.
Remember – you don’t have to go through this alone.
Even though I've been a therapist for almost 25 years, I still marvel at the honor of being let into my clients' lives to help them achieve the relationships they want. There's nothing better than seeing a previously emotionally disconnected couple have an "a-ha!" moment that results in them reaching out to each other again. It's powerful, and each time it happens I long to help more clients experience that transformation.
You're feeling desperate and don't know where to turn. Things have gotten worse than you ever thought they might, and you're overwhelmed. Everything you've tried hasn't worked, and you need someone to help, fast.
We're here. We have over 25 years of experience helping our clients come back from the edge and build the lives they want. We will work with you towards your goals and the vision of the life you want and deserve. Call, text or email us today; whether you have questions or are ready to schedule an appointment with one of our caring therapists, we're here to help.
Since we’ve been in the Washington metro area for almost 20 years, we are sensitive to the unique needs of federal agency employees, military couples and families, and those whose jobs may require security clearances. Rest assured that we prioritize confidentiality for all our clients, and we can accommodate your specific requirements for privacy and discretion. We honor your service and welcome the opportunity to give back to you.
While we do not bill insurance companies directly, at your request your therapist can provide a statement of services for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many of our clients do this, and are reimbursed for part or all of their fee; please check with your insurance company. When you call your insurance company, ask specifically about your “out-of-network provider benefits”; remember to get the name and extension of the person with whom you speak. Your insurance company should readily provide you with the information you need since you are their customer. Because we know you might want to use your insurance benefits, we also offer the option of having our administrative coordinator, Maggie Dodd, contact your insurance company on your behalf to verify your out-of-network benefits. If you would like to take advantage of this option, just let us know!
