Practice Information
About Me and My Practice:

I am the owner and clinical director of Alliance Therapy Group PLLC since 2011. Upon receiving a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2002 I worked in every level of medical care from hospital in-patient to Intensive Outpatient and ultimately to outpatient therapy with clinical experience in co-occurring disorders, chronic persistent mental health issues, mood disorders, attachment, trauma, depression, anxiety/panic. self-worth, substance use disorders and interpersonal relationships.

My approach to helping:

My theoretical orientation is blended but centrally focused on mindfulness based cognitive therapy. I assist my clients to discovery their own values, identify internal experiences and construct motivational attachment to their own change. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) is my primary modality but I am versed in Motivational Interviewing as well.

What I enjoy about being a therapist:

My practice allows contact with a diverse group of individuals connected by their common human challenges. I am amazed at the resourcefulness and resilience of the human condition. I become inspired daily to learn from them and become a better therapist. Helping someone unburden themselves of the grueling yoke of inner turmoil is the true meaning of therapy.

Why you should choose to work with me:

You should choose me if you seek a curious and accepting perspective on your inner experiences (doubt, fears, trauma) that interfere in the pursuit of your goals/values. You may realize this collaboration is essential to your own self-discovery... to bring new eyes to old struggles and bring psychologically adaptive meaning to our struggles, setting forth change. "The outcome is the process by which process becomes the outcome."

More information about me & my practice:

My practice is pet friendly, with some expectations. The pet owner must keep their companion animal on leash entering and exiting the consulting room. I provide water only. Once inside the consulting room, the pet may be off-leash.

Billing and insurance:

My rate for 50 minutes is $110.00
I take credit/debit cards, cash and money order.
I can provide a superbill for claiming insurance.
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Megellan Healthcare insurance.
